Fitting the Bird: I prefere to fit the saddle on my bird during the night at roosting times. This makes the process easy on both her and myself. This allows her to become familiar with the saddle as it is something new on her body. She will get used this product throughout the night. If there are lights on inside the coop, i suggest turning them off during this process, as it can allow her to see and struggle with the saddle getting down from the roosting boards and not sitting still all night. Check her in the morning, if she was Houdini and removed the saddle anyhow, just wait until that evening again and repeat the process until she has grown familiar with the saddle and excepting this new change.
