I am LaDonna Sellers Mother of 5 beautiful people. Homemaker and Housewife to Warren Sellers since 2008.
It was during the global disruptive egg food supply shortage We all experienced during Covid that inspired us to get chickens. These moments showed just how vulnerable our food system could be. After the beginning stages of building the chicken yard, I discovered many ways to maintain the coops, chickens, and create a very pretty scenery in my backyard. A pristine chicken yard with landscaping created for a specific purpose to aide in the wellbeing of my flock. This creativity inspired me to name the chicken yard L.D's Chick-Inn-Palace. From that inspiration a vision of how that business was conducted and managed would turn into more than I could imagine. I had no idea how these little creatures would aide me in my health battles, nor did I know they were a gateway into so much knowledge I would begin to learn and soak up like a sponge. From composting the droppings, kitchen food waste to utilizing that fertilizer for growing my own food. Canning, and my fresh fruits from my fruit trees, how to Preserve, to learning about fresh milled flour for sourdough breads. It caused me to examine the importance of whole, organic foods for our health, which all led me to farmers Markets, where a community of likeminded folks could educate one another and support economies, bring awareness to fresh, healthy produce, and foster direct community connections between farmer, creator, homesteaders and consumer. I offer much more at my local farmers markets but wanted to reach out further to connect to you. As I grow this ecommerce business I hope to bring you the best of products.
